You know the stork brings babies,
But did you also know
He comes and gets the older folks
When it's their time to go?
Zooms right down and scoops them up,
Then flaps back out the door
And flies them to the factory where
They all were made before.
And there their skin is tightened up,
Their muscles all are toned,
Their wrinkles all are ironed out,
They're given brand-new bones.
Ol' bent backs are straghtened up,
New teeth are added too,
Tired hearts are all repaired
And made to work like new.
Their memeories are all removed
And they're shrunk down, and then
The stork flies them back down to earth
As newborn babes again.
- Shel Silverstein

Welcome to the weekend, kiddies
It's a balmy plus five this afternoon in beautiful downtown Gronlid, kiddies. Time to put away your pencils and your pink pearl erasers,
open up the chute and cut loose with the Hogtown Syncopators, who remind us that You Meet The Nicest People In Your Dreams.

Trading shots in Iraq, twisting facts in Ottawa
"Mr. Sneaky is at it again.
After telling Canadians with his most scrubbed, choir-boy sincerity that his latest war would feature aerial bombardment and no boots on the grounds, the country finds out differently."
"The serial dishonesty of the Harper government was back on display last week in pink neon for all to see:
the F-35 has surreptitiously re-appeared on the government's agenda and once again the loser is Parliament."
of how much Country pop music sucks nowadays, look no further than this video which dissects and mashes-up six Country songs. All of them sound alike.
There ain't nothin' "original" added to the mix. "Original" never got anywhere close to the these songs to begin with!
In fact, the evidence so damning, YouTuber Sir Mashalot created his own Top 40 Country pop song.
I created this mashup as an experiment to see if I was crazy, or if I really was hearing the same hit country song over and over again, just sung by different artists.
Turns out I wasn't crazy ...
The offending songs put under the microscope for evaluation are:
"Sure Be Cool If You Did" - Blake Shelton
"Drunk on You" - Luke Bryan
"Chillin' It" - Cole Swindell
"Close Your Eyes" - Parmalee
"This is How We Roll" - Florida Georgia Line
"Ready, Set, Roll" - Chase Rice
Shamelessly stolen from Dangerous Minds.
