Quintessentially Canadian
ICYMI: In this 2021 video, Spud the Beaver stole my Canada flag. ???? I placed a flag over a beaver trail, hoping to get a photo of a beaver passing under it. But when Spud smelled a branch I had used as a flag pole, he grabbed it and ran. ???????? #WildlifeWednesday #beavers pic.twitter.com/Pd16AzQJT1

The Edmonton Grads were a powerhouse women's basketball team. The Edmonton Commercial Graduates Basketball Club, better known as “The Grads,” started as a high school girls basketball team and became a sports dynasty. World Champions for 17 years, the Grads dominated regionally, nationally, and internationally for 25 years beginning in 1915. Their record of 502 wins and only 20 losses is unmatched in all of sport. Dr. James Naismith called them "the finest team to ever step out onto a floor."

It's beyond ridiculous when Pierre Poilievre proclaimed himself a defender of working people, especially since there is absolutely nothing in Poilievre’s 18-year record as MP that shows working class Canadians are his priority. pic.twitter.com/Oj3ANSCEXX

The Case For Mask Mandates
"If mask mandates had not been dropped, right now we could be looking at
roughly 4.4 million fewer infected by Omicron, 2,300 fewer Omicron deaths,
230,000 fewer long covid cases, and of course fewer child respiratory
illnesses that are currently overwhelming children’s hospitals."

On Loyalty
“There are few words that are harder to explain than ‘loyalty.’ It’s always regarded as a
positive characteristic, because a lot of people would say that many of the best things that
people do for each other occur precisely because of loyalty. The only problem is that
many of the very worst things we do to each other occur because of the same thing.”
